Alisa Broadbent

MFT Intern

Alisa values individual progression within relationships, achieving personal growth and authentication.

Alisa Broadbent is a Marriage and Family Therapist intern pursuing her master’s degree at Capella University. Alisa has had experience working with youth, foster care, the Deaf community, refugee and immigrant populations, and LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families. She enjoys working with teens, young adults, couples and those experiencing life transitions.

Alisa values individual progression within relationships, achieving personal growth and authentication. She believes that our greatest joys can come from nurturing healthy relationships. Alisa pulls from a systemic approach in the therapy process, focusing on behavior that stems from our response to emotion. Alisa strongly believes in providing a client-centered approach, collaborating to find an alternate narrative that will bring more hope and fulfillment in valued relationships.

In her spare time, Alisa enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, hiking or any activity in the mountains, baking bread, metalsmithing, knitting during cold weather, and singing opera when no one else is listening.

As an intern, Alisa practices under the supervision of Branden Henline who can be reached at branden@sagefc.com
