Anika seeks to help all people understand their own internal family systems in a way that brings hope and healing.
Anika Prows is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She has always been passionate about taking the time to listen. Her goal is to help individuals, couples, and families flourish.
Anika received a bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. Anika graduated from the Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Utah Valley University.
In her work as a Let’s Play Music teacher, Anika focused on cultivating the parent-child relationship in a musical way and is excited to extend this work into the therapy room. Her intentional guidance toward emotion coaching and secure attachment extends beyond the parent-child relationship and into the couple relationship. She is currently training to become a Gottman Certified Couples Therapist.
In addition to couples and families, Anika also seeks to help individuals understand their own internal family systems. Her desire is to help individuals feel both autonomy and connection in a way that brings hope and healing. She is currently training to become Internal Family Systems informed.
In her spare time, Anika enjoys connecting with her husband and four kids as well as playing piano, reading, eating, and traveling.
As an Associate, Anika practices under the supervision of Dr. Lexie Daley.
