Julie specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, and betrayal with a focus on building a life worth living.

Julie works with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, betrayal, relationship issues and post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD). Julie has worked with clients of all ages in individual therapy, couples therapy, and group work facilitating addiction recovery groups as well DBT skills groups focusing on emotional regulation skills and distress tolerance skills.

Julie’s aim is to support and collaborate with you in building a life worth living. Her training and personal approach supports the belief that once someone is “seen” and understood they can then create change: transforming adversity into strength, and distress into peace.

Julie is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). She is trained in EMDR Levels I and II, and has used EMDR extensively since 2013 to facilitate a reduction in trauma and distress. She has been a certified NLP Practitioner since 1998, and taught ‘Love and Logic’ parenting classes as a Certified Facilitator. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and worked in various businesses while raising her children and stepchildren. She earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and has worked in the field since 2011.
