AMFT
Marie believes that each story requires a witness, and she is passionate about clearing space for her clients to be seen in their truth from a place of warmth and empathy.
Marie Hundley is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, AMFT, who believes that each story requires a witness. She is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where her clients can authentically express themselves. Marie's therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment theory, integrating mindfulness, somatic awareness, and emotional experiencing to facilitate healing and growth.
Marie earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and has pursued additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), The Gottman Method (levels 1 and 2), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Her aim is to support individuals, couples, and families in gaining clarity, navigating conflicts, and fostering stronger relationships.
Outside of her practice, Marie loves to spend time in the mountains with her family. She prioritizes her mental and physical well-being through meditation and yoga, recognizing that self-care is foundational for a healthy and balanced life and for nurturing meaningful connections with others.
"Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but when you touch a human soul, be just another human soul." -Carl Jung, Psychologist
As an Associate, Marie practices under the supervision of Dr. Branden Henline who can be reached at branden@sagefc.com.
