Sandy Crane

MFT Intern

Sandy is passionate about helping individuals and couples with addiction, mental health, relationships, and attachment.

Sandy Crane’s journey into the field of Marriage and Family Therapy began with a deep need to find meaning in her life experiences that included challenges with anxiety, depression, dysfunctional family experiences, ADHD, eating disorders, racism, marriage, and addiction. Together with her husband, who also shared many similar challenges, they sought out the help of a Marriage and Family Therapist. Having gained education, insight, and life-changing lessons about authenticity, vulnerability, accountability, and healthy relationships and communication from their therapist, Sandy discovered a new life outside of the one she had always lived. This new journey was real. It was honest. It was healing, and it brought joy to her life and the life of her family.

Sandy is working toward completion of a Master’s Degree Program in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University within their California School of Professional Psychology. Sandy’s knowledge and training have focused on mental health and wellness, relationships, and addiction. She continues her training and active exploration of professional and scholarly resources on many topics that clients face in their daily lives. She especially enjoys helping women who struggle with sex addiction and betrayal trauma or who suffer with coming forward and finding recovery due to the bias and stigma centered in family, religion, and society.

In her spare time Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys enjoying the outdoors, traveling, taking pictures, and reading.
