Dresden Clark

LSUDC, AMFT

Dresden helps individuals and couples heal through truth-telling, accountability, and authentic connection, guiding them to break old patterns and create lasting change in their lives and relationships.

Dresden Clark is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in substance use counseling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and specialized training in Substance Use Disorders Counseling from The University of Utah, where she became a Licensed Substance Use Counselor.

She is trained in EMDR, a trauma-focused therapy that helps clients heal from painful experiences and move forward with greater resilience. Dresden also specializes in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), a powerful approach that emphasizes truth-telling, accountability, and speaking truth to power. She uses Relational Life Therapy with both individuals and couples to break unhealthy patterns, build self-awareness, and create deeper, more authentic relationships. In couples work, she combines Relational Life Therapy with the Gottman Method to strengthen communication, intimacy, and repair. Her style is direct, compassionate, and highly engaging, and she loves the challenge of helping couples create change and greater happiness.

Outside of her professional life, Dresden enjoys time with her husband and their blended family of five adult children. She values the unique dynamics of blended families and appreciates the growth and perspective they bring. A nature enthusiast, she finds peace and inspiration camping and backpacking.

As an associate, Dresden practices under the supervision of Charity Hotton, LMFT.
