What Do I Do If I Am In Crisis?

Professionals, services, or others I can contact in a crisis:

  1. Go to the nearest Emergency Room, or Call 9-1-1
  2. Ask your phone (Siri, Google, etc.) to call the Suicide Hotline, 9-8-8
  3. The Crisis Line (800-273-TALK) will send a Mobile Crisis Outreach Team to meet with you online or in person if needed, with the goal of supporting you to stay out of hospitals and in your home and community.
  4. Children, Teens, Parents and Educators can use the Safe UT app 24/7
  5. You can call the Utah Warm Line (1-833-SPEAKUT; 833-773-2588) 8am-11pm daily to talk with a peer support specialist

Yes, we offer telehealth therapy services. We utilize a secure, HIPAA compliant video service. We provide online therapy in Utah and Arizona. Please reach out to our clinic if you live in a different state and we can research the laws in your state.

*If you will be traveling to another state or out of the country and would like to participate in telehealth sessions while you are traveling, this may be possible but it depends on the telehealth laws in each location. We will need to explore the laws and regulations where you will be to see if this is a possibility.

Your therapist will keep your sessions confidential. That means that they will not share your information without your written consent. Some exceptions include situations where you are a danger to yourself or others, or if there is evidence of abuse. We utilize a HIPAA compliant electronic record system where we store your personal documents and therapy notes.

Prior to your first session, you will fill out paperwork in the client portal (a link will be emailed to you). During your first session, your therapist will talk with you about your goals for therapy and will spend time getting to know you. You will discuss the therapy process and ways your therapist can help you to accomplish your goals.
