Elisheva Osenbach

MFT Intern (Student Therapist)

Elisheva Osenbach is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern passionate about supporting families through challenges that impact their functioning and happiness.

Her journey into this field began through personal experiences with her own family, attending residential treatment herself, and witnessing how therapy can change lives. From there, she worked as an autism aide in a preschool, where she assisted with behavioral support and classroom interventions. This experience blossomed into her role as a lead teaching assistant in a psychology course at Brigham Young University.

Elisheva graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently attending her graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University, with an emphasis in trauma.

With a deep appreciation for systemic thinking, Elisheva is drawn to approaches that strengthen family bonds, foster effective communication, build self-trust and self-love, and encourage active, intentional change. She is especially interested in addressing maladaptive coping skills that develop as a result of trauma and in helping individuals and families establish healthy boundaries.

In her spare time, Elisheva enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and creating through any medium.

As an intern, Elisheva practices under the supervision of Whitney Sanchez, LMFT.
