Alisa values individual progression within relationships, achieving personal growth and authentication.
Alisa Broadbent is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s story into the therapy room. She has experience working with youth, foster care communities, refugee and immigrant families, and LGBTQIA+ individuals and their loved ones. As a fluent ASL speaker with a long-standing love for the Deaf community, Alisa is passionate about providing culturally mindful and accessible support. Alisa enjoys working with teens, young adults, couples, and people navigating meaningful life transitions.
Alisa is trained in Gottman Method Levels I and II and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and integrates approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Bowen Family Systems Theory. She is familiar with a wide range of clinical concerns, including family dynamics, parenting challenges, couple conflict, addiction, affairs, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.
At the heart of Alisa’s work is a belief that people grow best within safe, supportive relationships. She values helping clients understand themselves more deeply, find compassion for their emotional experiences, and build the kinds of connections that bring joy, resilience, and meaning. Alisa also enjoys exploring spiritual resources and practices with clients who find them helpful—supporting personal resilience, grounding, and a deeper sense of strength. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered—together, she and her clients explore patterns, uncover strengths, and create new stories that offer hope and a sense of possibility.
Outside of therapy, Alisa enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, hiking in the mountains, baking bread, metalsmithing, and cozy knitting during the colder months.
As an associate therapist, Alisa practices under the supervision of Branden Henline, who can be reached at branden@sagefc.com.
