Whitney seeks to help couples and families build strong relationships
Whitney Sanchez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Helping people has always been important to Whitney, professionally and personally. Her journey to the field began while she was working at Utah Valley University’s Women’s Success Center. At the center, she helped connect students and community members to resources and helped them address barriers that would prevent them from completing their education. It was here she saw the impact that empowering an individual can have on an entire family and community.
Whitney is particularly passionate about working with couples and helping them build strong bonds. She also has a special interest in helping those struggling with mental health during pregnancy and postpartum. She knows that building a family – no matter how it happens – is an exciting, but sometimes challenging, time.
Whitney practices Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and is trained in Gottman Couple Therapy
