Michelle Lukens

MSW Intern (Student Therapist)

Michelle is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University in 2010. In addition to her academic work, Michelle dedicated many years to raising her family and serving those in her community.

Michelle is known for her resilience, patience, and ability to build genuine, trusting relationships. Her personal and professional experiences have strengthened her passion for supporting individuals and families navigating life transitions, grief, and complex family dynamics. She strives to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood and supported.

Outside of her professional life, Michelle enjoys playing the piano, building LEGO and exploring new foods. Michelle believes that life’s unexpected challenges are easier to navigate when we don’t face them alone. Whether clients are experiencing grief, divorce, or the complexities of blending a family, she believes healing begins through compassion, connection, and hope. She is passionate about walking alongside her clients as they discover their own strengths and move toward greater resilience and well-being.
